Shipping Information
Below, you’ll find comprehensive details about our shipping options and policy. We understand that when you place an order, you want your items as quickly as possible, and we’re committed to making that happen.
Orders are typically shipped within 24 to 48 hours from the time they are placed. Weekend orders will ship on Monday. We make every effort to ship all orders placed before noon Eastern Standard Time on the same day.
Ground Shipping
Ground Shipping is a cost-effective delivery method where packages are transported by land, usually via trucks, rather than by air. This method is ideal for non-urgent shipments within the contiguous United States, providing reliable, door-to-door service. Both FedEx and UPS offer ground shipping with similar delivery windows and package specifications, making them suitable options for businesses and individuals looking to balance delivery speed and cost.
Package Specifications
- Weight: Packages up to 150 pounds are accepted.
- Size: Maximum dimensions are 108 inches in length, or a combined length and girth of 165 inches (girth is the distance around the thickest part of the package).
- Eligible Items: Ground shipping is ideal for standard items like retail goods, electronics, books, and other non-urgent products that meet size and weight restrictions.
Available Ground Shipping Options
Freight - LTL Orders
LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight shipping is a practical, cost-effective option for moving large or heavy items without needing an entire truck. Ideal for shipments over 150 lbs that are too big for standard ground services, LTL consolidates freight from multiple customers onto one truck. This way, each customer pays only for the space they use, making it a budget-friendly choice for bulky items like retail fixtures, furniture, and machinery.
Comparison to Standard Ground Shipping
While ground shipping works for smaller packages, LTL is specifically designed for large or multiple items that require specialized handling. LTL shipping usually takes 2-6 business days, slightly longer than standard ground, but provides more handling options, like liftgate and inside delivery.
LTL-Freight Delivery Recipients Responsibility
- Request a Call Prior to Delivery: If you may be unavailable during regular business hours, please request a call prior to delivery at checkout. This allows the delivery company to contact you to arrange a scheduled delivery time.
- Schedule Delivery Appointment: Failure to arrange for a delivery appointment or to be present at the time of delivery may result in a re-delivery fee. Please ensure any necessary delivery appointments are scheduled with the carrier if required for your location.
- Be Present to Receive Delivery: The recipient must be present to receive the delivery. LTL carriers will not leave packages unattended.
- Inspect the Freight Upon Arrival: Examine the packaging for any visible signs of damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). If you notice any issues, note them on the BOL, and take photos of the damage. Request that the driver signs off on the damage acknowledgment to confirm the issue.
- Sign the Delivery Receipt: Sign the BOL to confirm receipt of goods. Any damage or shortages should be noted in detail on the BOL before signing.
- Unload Freight: Be prepared to unload the freight unless you have requested lift gate delivery. Note that lift gate delivery is a curbside service, not an inside delivery. For dock-to-dock deliveries, the recipient must have a loading dock or the necessary equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack) for safe unloading.
- Inspect Contents After Unloading: After unloading, please open and inspect the freight for any concealed damage within 2 to 3 business days of delivery. If you find any damage, contact our customer service team immediately with photo evidence. Prompt reporting is essential to allow us to file a claim with the shipping provider, as delays may affect our ability to pursue compensation for damages. Please note that we cannot assume responsibility for damage reported after this period or for any damage occurring beyond the inspection window.
- Handle Debris or Packaging Disposal: Recipients are responsible for disposal of any packaging or debris after delivery unless specified otherwise by the carrier.
